Yumify zeigt keine Werbung, setzt keine Werbe-Tracker und keine Analysedienste von Drittanbietern ein und verkauft keine Daten. Wie oft Funktionen genutzt werden, zählen wir nur anonym und ohne Kennung – abschaltbar in den Einstellungen. Wir verarbeiten nur, was für dein Konto, deine Rezepte, deine Käufe und den Support nötig ist. Allergien und Ernährungsform gibst du freiwillig an. An den KI-Anbieter gehen nur deine gewählten Zutaten und Rezeptwünsche – nie dein Name oder deine Kontodaten.
Für die Nutzung brauchst du ein Konto. Du meldest dich mit E-Mail und Passwort, mit Google oder mit Apple an. Wir speichern dabei eine Kontokennung, deine E-Mail-Adresse, deinen Benutzernamen und – wenn du eines hochlädst – dein Profilbild. Bei der Anmeldung mit Google oder Apple erhalten wir von dort nur Kennung, E-Mail-Adresse und gegebenenfalls deinen Namen; bei „Mit Apple anmelden“ kann das eine von Apple erzeugte Weiterleitungsadresse sein. Rechtsgrundlage ist die Erfüllung des Nutzungsvertrags (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO).
Damit Yumify funktioniert, speichern wir zu deinem Konto: gemochte und abgelehnte Zutaten, deine gespeicherten Rezepte und Favoriten, deine Sammlungen, deinen Wochenplan, deine Einkaufsliste (Haken und eigene Einträge), deine Bewertungen von Rezepten (Daumen hoch oder runter), deine Sprache sowie deine Guthaben an Swipes und Rezept-Wünschen. Bewertungen sehen andere Nutzer nur als Gesamtzahl, nie mit deinem Namen. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
Andere können dich über deinen Benutzernamen finden und dir eine Freundschaftsanfrage schicken, die du annimmst oder ablehnst; das kannst du unter „Über meinen Namen auffindbar“ abschalten. Nimmst du an, speichern wir bei euch beiden die Freundschaft mit dem Benutzernamen des anderen und später eure gemeinsamen Matches. Deine Freunde sehen außerdem dein Profilbild und – solange „Kochbilanz mit Freunden teilen“ an ist – eine Zusammenfassung deiner Kochbilanz: wie viel du gekocht und gespart hast, deine Serie, deine Abzeichen und dein zuletzt gekochtes Gericht. Schaltest du das Teilen ab, löschen wir diese Zusammenfassung. Du kannst Konten blockieren und melden. Bei einer Meldung speichern wir deine Kontokennung, das gemeldete Konto, seinen Benutzernamen, den Grund und den Zeitpunkt, um anstößige Inhalte zu prüfen und zu entfernen (berechtigtes Interesse, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Startet ihr eine gemeinsame Runde, legen wir eine Sitzung an mit euren Kontokennungen und Benutzernamen, den Zutaten des gemeinsamen Stapels und euren Stimmen (gemocht oder nicht). Den Stapel bilden wir aus euren Ernährungsformen und Allergien, ohne sie dem anderen anzuzeigen; die App zeigt dem anderen nur, wie weit du bist, nicht, was du gemocht hast. Damit dich eine Einladung erreicht, speichern wir nach deiner Freigabe im Betriebssystem eine Push-Kennung deines Geräts, ob es ein iPhone oder ein Android-Gerät ist, und deine Sprache und versenden die Nachricht über Firebase Cloud Messaging (auf iPhones zugestellt über Apples Push-Dienst). Freundschaften kannst du jederzeit entfernen; beim Abmelden löschen wir die Push-Kennung des Geräts. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
Angaben zu Allergien, Unverträglichkeiten und deiner Ernährungsform (zum Beispiel vegan) können Rückschlüsse auf deine Gesundheit oder deine Weltanschauung zulassen und sind damit besonders geschützte Daten nach Art. 9 DSGVO. Wir verarbeiten sie nur mit deiner ausdrücklichen Einwilligung (Art. 9 Abs. 2 lit. a DSGVO) und nur, um passende Rezepte vorzuschlagen und ungeeignete auszufiltern. Die Angabe ist freiwillig; ohne sie funktioniert die App, filtert aber nicht nach Allergien. Du kannst die Einwilligung jederzeit widerrufen, indem du die Angaben in den Einstellungen löschst; die Rechtmäßigkeit der bis dahin erfolgten Verarbeitung bleibt davon unberührt.
Findet unser Rezeptkatalog nichts Passendes, lassen wir neue Rezepte von einem KI-Sprachmodell erzeugen. Dazu übermitteln wir die von dir gewählten Zutaten, deine Ernährungsform, deine Allergien und deine Sprache an OpenAI, L.L.C. (USA) – ohne Namen, E-Mail-Adresse, Telefonnummer oder Kontokennung. Nach Angaben von OpenAI werden Daten aus der Programmierschnittstelle nicht zum Training der Modelle verwendet und höchstens 30 Tage zur Missbrauchserkennung aufbewahrt. Das Bild zu einem neuen Rezept erzeugt Recraft, Inc. (USA); dorthin geht nur der Name des Gerichts. Neue Rezepte nehmen wir in unseren Katalog auf und zeigen sie auch anderen Nutzern; sie enthalten keine Angaben über dich. Intern halten wir fest, welches Konto ein Rezept angefragt und bereits gesehen hat, damit du keine doppelten Rezepte bekommst und fehlgeschlagene Anfragen gutgeschrieben werden können. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, für Allergien und Ernährungsform deine Einwilligung nach Art. 9 Abs. 2 lit. a DSGVO. KI-erzeugte Rezepte prüft kein Mensch; kontrolliere Zutaten bei Allergien immer selbst.
Käufe und Abonnements schließt du über den Apple App Store oder Google Play ab. Zahlungsdaten erhalten wir nicht; dafür gelten die Datenschutzbestimmungen von Apple bzw. Google. Für die Abwicklung nutzen wir RevenueCat, Inc. (USA). RevenueCat verarbeitet Produkt, Kaufzeitpunkt, Preis, Store-Transaktionskennung, Abo-Status und unsere Kontokennung und meldet uns Käufe, damit wir dir Guthaben oder Abo-Vorteile gutschreiben können. Wir speichern dazu den Abo-Status und die verarbeiteten Kaufmeldungen. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, für Aufbewahrungspflichten Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO.
Schreibst du uns über das Support-Formular in der App, übermittelt die App Betreff, deine E-Mail-Adresse, deine Nachricht und die App-Sprache zusammen mit deiner Kontokennung an unsere Cloud Function bei Google Firebase. Dort speichern wir die Anfrage in unserer Datenbank, damit wir sie bearbeiten können, und stellen sie als E-Mail über unseren Postfachanbieter IONOS an support@yumify.io zu. Deine IP-Adresse speichern wir dabei nicht. Schreibst du direkt an support@yumify.io, erhalten wir deine E-Mail. Wir nutzen diese Angaben nur, um dein Anliegen zu bearbeiten, und löschen sie spätestens zwölf Monate nach Abschluss oder mit deinem Konto, sofern keine gesetzliche Aufbewahrungspflicht besteht. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b bzw. lit. f DSGVO (Beantwortung von Anfragen).
Auf Kamera und Fotomediathek greift die App nur zu, wenn du selbst ein Profilbild aufnimmst oder auswählst, und nur nach deiner Freigabe im Betriebssystem. Das Bild speichern wir in deinem Konto, bis du es änderst oder dein Konto löschst. Auf Standort, Kontakte oder Mikrofon greift Yumify nicht zu.
Die App speichert auf deinem Gerät deine Einstellungen, Listen, Guthaben und deinen Anmeldestatus, damit sie schnell startet und auch kurz ohne Verbindung nutzbar ist. Das ist für den von dir gewünschten Dienst unbedingt erforderlich (§ 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG). Werbe- oder Analyse-Kennungen legen wir nicht an.
Um zu verstehen, welche Funktionen helfen, zählen wir, wie oft bestimmte Dinge am Tag passieren – zum Beispiel ein Match, ein gekochtes Rezept oder ein geplantes Gericht – sowie, ob die App 1, 7 oder 30 Tage nach dem Anlegen des Kontos wieder genutzt wird. Gespeichert wird nur eine Zahl je Ereignis und Tag, ohne Konto- oder Gerätekennung, ohne Werbe-ID und ohne Drittanbieter. Damit ein Tag nicht doppelt zählt, vermerken wir in deinem Konto den Tag der letzten Zählung. Auf deinem Gerät legt die Statistik nichts ab und liest dort nichts aus. Rechtsgrundlage ist unser berechtigtes Interesse an der Verbesserung der App (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Du kannst die Zählung in den Einstellungen unter „Anonyme Statistik“ jederzeit abschalten.
Damit niemand unsere Server oder die KI-Kontingente überlastet, zählt unser Server je Konto, wie oft innerhalb einer Stunde Rezepte erzeugt, gemeinsame Runden gestartet, Namen gesucht und Guthaben abgeglichen werden. Gespeichert werden dazu nur deine Kontokennung, der Beginn des Zeitfensters und die Anzahl; die Grenzen sind in normaler Nutzung unerreichbar. Außerdem prüft Firebase App Check bei jeder Anfrage, dass sie aus der echten Yumify-App kommt. Dazu holt die App ein Prüfsiegel von Google Play Integrity (Android) bzw. Apple App Attest oder DeviceCheck (iPhone); dabei gehen technische Angaben zu App und Gerät an Google bzw. Apple, aber keine Kontodaten. Rechtsgrundlage ist unser berechtigtes Interesse an einem sicheren und bezahlbaren Betrieb (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
Wir setzen folgende Auftragsverarbeiter ein, die deine Daten nur nach unserer Weisung verarbeiten:
Eine Weitergabe an andere Dritte erfolgt nicht, es sei denn, wir sind gesetzlich dazu verpflichtet.
Einige Dienstleister sitzen in den USA oder verarbeiten Daten dort. Google LLC ist nach dem EU-US Data Privacy Framework zertifiziert (für die Schweiz: Swiss-U.S. DPF, für das Vereinigte Königreich: UK Extension); die Übermittlung stützt sich auf den Angemessenheitsbeschluss der EU-Kommission (Art. 45 DSGVO). Mit OpenAI, RevenueCat und Recraft haben wir die EU-Standardvertragsklauseln vereinbart (Art. 46 Abs. 2 lit. c DSGVO); an Recraft geht ohnehin nur der Name eines Gerichts. Eine Kopie der Klauseln erhältst du auf Anfrage unter support@yumify.io.
Deine Konto- und Nutzungsdaten speichern wir, bis du dein Konto löschst; gemeinsame Swipe-Sitzungen löschen wir sieben Tage nach ihrem Ablauf (eine Einladung gilt 24 Stunden); dann löschen wir sie unverzüglich. In Sicherungskopien können sie noch bis zu 30 Tage enthalten sein, bis diese überschrieben werden. Ausgenommen sind: ein Vermerk aus Kontokennung und Zeitpunkt, dass dein Konto sein Startguthaben bereits erhalten hat, sowie ob es eine Einladungsprämie erhalten hat und wie viele es für Einladungen bekam (ohne festzuhalten, wer wen eingeladen hat) – er verhindert, dass durch wiederholtes Löschen und Neuanlegen Gratisguthaben erschlichen wird (berechtigtes Interesse, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO) und wird 24 Monate nach der Löschung deines Kontos entfernt; Kaufmeldungen, solange gesetzliche Aufbewahrungspflichten bestehen (bis zu zehn Jahre); sowie Rezepte im Katalog, bei denen wir den Verweis auf dein Konto entfernen. Meldungen über dein Konto bleiben ohne deine Kennung und deinen Namen erhalten (nur Grund und Zeitpunkt). Technische Protokolle unserer Server löschen wir nach spätestens 90 Tagen.
Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft (Art. 15 DSGVO), Berichtigung (Art. 16), Löschung (Art. 17), Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18), Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20) und Widerspruch gegen Verarbeitungen auf Grundlage berechtigter Interessen (Art. 21). Einwilligungen kannst du jederzeit mit Wirkung für die Zukunft widerrufen (Art. 7 Abs. 3). Dein Konto samt Daten löschst du selbst in der App unter Einstellungen → Support → Account löschen; alle anderen Anliegen richtest du an support@yumify.io. Außerdem kannst du dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde beschweren. Für uns zuständig ist das Bayerische Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, www.lda.bayern.de. Du kannst dich auch an die Behörde deines Wohnsitzlandes wenden, im Vereinigten Königreich an das Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), in der Schweiz an den EDÖB.
Du hast das Recht, aus Gründen, die sich aus deiner besonderen Situation ergeben, jederzeit Widerspruch gegen Verarbeitungen einzulegen, die wir auf unser berechtigtes Interesse stützen (Art. 21 DSGVO) – zum Beispiel gegen die anonyme Nutzungsstatistik oder die Prüfung von Meldungen. Wir verarbeiten die Daten dann nicht mehr, es sei denn, wir können zwingende schutzwürdige Gründe nachweisen, die deine Interessen, Rechte und Freiheiten überwiegen, oder die Verarbeitung dient der Geltendmachung, Ausübung oder Verteidigung von Rechtsansprüchen. Deinen Widerspruch richtest du an support@yumify.io.
Für ein Konto brauchen wir eine Anmeldemöglichkeit (E-Mail, Google oder Apple) und einen Benutzernamen; ohne sie kann die App nicht genutzt werden. Alle anderen Angaben sind freiwillig.
Welche Rezepte dir vorgeschlagen werden, bestimmt die App automatisch anhand deiner Angaben. Eine automatisierte Entscheidung mit rechtlicher Wirkung oder ähnlich erheblicher Beeinträchtigung im Sinne von Art. 22 DSGVO findet nicht statt.
Yumify richtet sich an Personen ab 16 Jahren. Wir verarbeiten nicht wissentlich Daten jüngerer Kinder. Erfahren wir, dass ein Kind unter 16 Jahren ein Konto angelegt hat, löschen wir es. Eltern erreichen uns unter support@yumify.io.
Wir passen diese Erklärung an, wenn sich die App oder die Rechtslage ändert. Über wesentliche Änderungen informieren wir dich in der App, bevor sie wirksam werden. Die aktuelle Fassung findest du immer in der App und unter yumify.io/datenschutz.html. Do-Not-Track-Signale deines Browsers beachten wir nicht gesondert, weil weder die App noch unsere Website dich über Dienste hinweg verfolgen. Diese Erklärung gibt es auf Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch; alle Fassungen sind inhaltlich gleich. Bei Abweichungen gilt die Fassung in der Sprache, in der du die App nutzt. Stand: 22. Oktober 2026.

Yumify shows no ads, uses no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics services, and does not sell data. We count how often features are used only anonymously and without any identifier – you can switch this off in the settings. We only process what is needed for your account, your recipes, your purchases and support. You provide allergies and diet voluntarily. The AI provider only receives your chosen ingredients and recipe preferences – never your name or account details.
You need an account to use the app. You sign in with e-mail and password, with Google or with Apple. We store an account ID, your e-mail address, your username and – if you upload one – your profile picture. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we only receive an ID, an e-mail address and, where applicable, your name; with "Sign in with Apple" this may be a relay address created by Apple. The legal basis is the performance of the user agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To make Yumify work, we store with your account: liked and rejected ingredients, your saved recipes and favourites, your collections, your meal plan, your shopping list (checkmarks and your own items), your recipe ratings (thumbs up or down), your language and your balances of swipes and recipe wishes. Other users only see ratings as a total count, never with your name. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Others can find you by your username and send you a friend request, which you can accept or decline; you can switch this off under “Findable by my username”. If you accept, we store the friendship for both of you together with the other person’s username and, later, your matches together. Your friends also see your profile picture and – as long as “Share cooking stats with friends” is on – a summary of your cooking stats: how much you have cooked and saved, your streak, your badges and your latest dish. If you switch sharing off, we delete this summary. You can block and report accounts. When you report an account, we store your account ID, the reported account, its username, the reason and the time in order to review and remove objectionable content (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). When you start a round together, we create a session with your account IDs and usernames, the ingredients of the shared stack and your votes (liked or not). We build the stack from both your diets and allergies without showing them to the other person; the app only shows the other person how far you have got, not what you liked. So that an invitation reaches you, we store – after you allow it in your operating system – a push token for your device, whether it is an iPhone or an Android device, and your language, and send the message via Firebase Cloud Messaging (delivered on iPhones through Apple's push service). You can remove friendships at any time; when you sign out, we delete the device’s push token. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Information about allergies, intolerances and your diet (for example vegan) may reveal information about your health or beliefs and is therefore specially protected data under Art. 9 GDPR. We only process it with your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) and only to suggest suitable recipes and filter out unsuitable ones. Providing it is voluntary; the app works without it but will not filter by allergies. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting this information in the settings; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
If our recipe catalogue has nothing suitable, we have new recipes created by an AI language model. For this we send the ingredients you selected, your diet, your allergies and your language to OpenAI, L.L.C. (USA) – without your name, e-mail address, phone number or account ID. According to OpenAI, data sent through its API is not used to train its models and is retained for at most 30 days for abuse monitoring. The image for a new recipe is created by Recraft, Inc. (USA), which only receives the name of the dish. We add new recipes to our catalogue and also show them to other users; they contain no information about you. Internally we record which account requested and has already seen a recipe, so that you do not receive duplicates and failed requests can be credited back. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for allergies and diet, your consent under Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR. AI-generated recipes are not reviewed by a human; always check ingredients yourself if you have allergies.
You make purchases and subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive payment details; Apple's or Google's privacy policies apply to those. We use RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) to process purchases. RevenueCat processes the product, time of purchase, price, store transaction ID, subscription status and our account ID and notifies us of purchases so that we can credit balances or subscription benefits to you. For this we store your subscription status and the processed purchase notifications. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for retention obligations, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
If you contact us through the support form in the app, the app sends the subject, your e-mail address, your message and the app language together with your account ID to our cloud function at Google Firebase. There we store the request in our database so that we can handle it, and deliver it as an e-mail to support@yumify.io through our mailbox provider IONOS. We do not store your IP address in the process. If you write to support@yumify.io directly, we receive your e-mail. We only use this information to handle your request and delete it no later than twelve months after it has been resolved or together with your account, unless a statutory retention obligation applies. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR (answering requests).
The app only accesses the camera and photo library when you take or choose a profile picture yourself, and only after you allow it in the operating system. We store the picture in your account until you change it or delete your account. Yumify does not access your location, contacts or microphone.
The app stores your settings, lists, balances and sign-in status on your device so that it starts quickly and can briefly be used without a connection. This is strictly necessary for the service you requested (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG). We do not create advertising or analytics identifiers.
To understand which features help, we count how often certain things happen per day – for example a match, a cooked recipe or a planned dish – and whether the app is used again 1, 7 or 30 days after the account was created. We only store one number per event and day, without any account or device ID, without an advertising ID and without third parties. So that a day is not counted twice, we note the day of the last count in your account. The statistics neither store nor read anything on your device. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can switch the counting off at any time in the settings under “Anonymous statistics”.
So that nobody overloads our servers or the AI quotas, our server counts per account how often recipes are generated, shared rounds are started, names are searched and balances are reconciled within one hour. For this we store only your account ID, the start of the time window and the count; the limits cannot be reached in normal use. In addition, Firebase App Check verifies with every request that it comes from the genuine Yumify app. For this, the app obtains an attestation from Google Play Integrity (Android) or Apple App Attest or DeviceCheck (iPhone); technical information about the app and the device is sent to Google or Apple, but no account data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and affordable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We use the following processors, who only process your data on our instructions:
We do not share data with any other third parties unless we are legally required to do so.
Some service providers are based in the USA or process data there. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (for Switzerland: Swiss-U.S. DPF, for the United Kingdom: UK Extension); the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). With OpenAI, RevenueCat and Recraft we have concluded the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR); Recraft only receives the name of a dish anyway. You can request a copy of the clauses at support@yumify.io.
We store your account and usage data until you delete your account; we delete swipe-together sessions seven days after they expire (an invitation is valid for 24 hours); we then delete it without undue delay. It may remain in backups for up to 30 days until they are overwritten. Exceptions are: a record of your account ID and the time your account received its starting credit, and whether it received an invitation reward and how many rewards it earned for invitations (without recording who invited whom) – it prevents free credit from being obtained by repeatedly deleting and re-creating accounts (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is removed 24 months after your account is deleted; purchase notifications for as long as statutory retention obligations apply (up to ten years); and recipes in the catalogue, from which we remove the reference to your account. Reports about your account are kept without your ID and your name (only reason and time). We delete technical logs of our servers after 90 days at the latest.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). You can delete your account and data yourself in the app under Settings → Support → Delete account; please send all other requests to support@yumify.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de. You can also contact the authority of your country of residence, in the United Kingdom the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), in Switzerland the FDPIC.
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing that we base on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR) – for example the anonymous usage statistics or the review of reports. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Send your objection to support@yumify.io.
For an account we need a sign-in method (e-mail, Google or Apple) and a username; the app cannot be used without them. All other information is voluntary.
The app automatically decides which recipes to suggest based on your information. No automated decision with legal effect or similarly significant impact within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
Yumify is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly process data of younger children. If we learn that a child under 16 has created an account, we delete it. Parents can reach us at support@yumify.io.
We update this policy when the app or the legal situation changes. We inform you in the app about material changes before they take effect. You can always find the current version in the app and at yumify.io/datenschutz.html. We do not separately honour Do Not Track signals from your browser, because neither the app nor our website tracks you across services. This policy is available in German, English and Spanish; all versions have the same content. In case of discrepancies, the version in the language in which you use the app applies. Yumify no muestra publicidad, no utiliza rastreadores publicitarios ni servicios de análisis de terceros y no vende datos. Contamos con qué frecuencia se usan las funciones solo de forma anónima y sin identificadores; puedes desactivarlo en los ajustes. Solo tratamos lo necesario para tu cuenta, tus recetas, tus compras y el soporte. Tus alergias y tu tipo de dieta los indicas de forma voluntaria. El proveedor de IA solo recibe los ingredientes y preferencias que eliges, nunca tu nombre ni los datos de tu cuenta.
Para usar la app necesitas una cuenta. Inicias sesión con correo y contraseña, con Google o con Apple. Guardamos un identificador de cuenta, tu correo electrónico, tu nombre de usuario y, si subes una, tu foto de perfil. Si inicias sesión con Google o Apple, solo recibimos un identificador, un correo electrónico y, en su caso, tu nombre; con «Iniciar sesión con Apple» puede ser una dirección de reenvío creada por Apple. La base jurídica es la ejecución del contrato de uso (art. 6.1.b RGPD).
Para que Yumify funcione, guardamos en tu cuenta: los ingredientes que te gustan y los que rechazas, tus recetas guardadas y favoritas, tus colecciones, tu plan semanal, tu lista de la compra (marcas y elementos propios), tus valoraciones de recetas (pulgar arriba o abajo), tu idioma y tu saldo de swipes y de deseos de receta. Los demás usuarios solo ven las valoraciones como número total, nunca con tu nombre. La base jurídica es el art. 6.1.b RGPD.
Otras personas pueden encontrarte por tu nombre de usuario y enviarte una solicitud de amistad, que puedes aceptar o rechazar; puedes desactivarlo en «Encontrable por mi nombre». Si la aceptas, guardamos la amistad en ambas cuentas junto con el nombre de usuario de la otra persona y, más adelante, vuestros matches en común. Tus amigos ven además tu foto de perfil y —mientras «Compartir balance de cocina con amigos» esté activado— un resumen de tu balance de cocina: cuánto has cocinado y ahorrado, tu racha, tus insignias y tu último plato. Si desactivas la opción, borramos ese resumen. Puedes bloquear y denunciar cuentas. Al denunciar una cuenta, guardamos tu identificador de cuenta, la cuenta denunciada, su nombre de usuario, el motivo y el momento para revisar y eliminar contenido inapropiado (interés legítimo, art. 6.1.f RGPD). Cuando empezáis una ronda juntos, creamos una sesión con vuestros identificadores de cuenta y nombres de usuario, los ingredientes de la pila común y vuestros votos (me gusta o no). Formamos la pila a partir de vuestras dietas y alergias sin mostrárselas al otro; la app solo le muestra al otro cuánto has avanzado, no lo que te ha gustado. Para que te llegue una invitación, guardamos —tras tu permiso en el sistema operativo— un identificador push de tu dispositivo, si es un iPhone o un dispositivo Android, y tu idioma, y enviamos el mensaje mediante Firebase Cloud Messaging (en iPhones se entrega a través del servicio push de Apple). Puedes eliminar amistades en cualquier momento; al cerrar sesión borramos el identificador push del dispositivo. La base jurídica es el art. 6.1.b RGPD.
Los datos sobre alergias, intolerancias y tu tipo de dieta (por ejemplo, vegana) pueden revelar información sobre tu salud o tus convicciones y son, por tanto, datos especialmente protegidos según el art. 9 RGPD. Solo los tratamos con tu consentimiento explícito (art. 9.2.a RGPD) y únicamente para sugerirte recetas adecuadas y descartar las que no lo son. Indicarlos es voluntario; la app funciona sin ellos, pero no filtrará por alergias. Puedes retirar tu consentimiento en cualquier momento borrando estos datos en los ajustes; ello no afecta a la licitud del tratamiento realizado antes de la retirada.
Si nuestro catálogo no tiene nada adecuado, generamos recetas nuevas con un modelo de lenguaje de IA. Para ello enviamos los ingredientes que has elegido, tu dieta, tus alergias y tu idioma a OpenAI, L.L.C. (EE. UU.), sin tu nombre, correo, teléfono ni identificador de cuenta. Según OpenAI, los datos enviados a través de su API no se utilizan para entrenar sus modelos y se conservan como máximo 30 días para detectar abusos. La imagen de una receta nueva la genera Recraft, Inc. (EE. UU.), que solo recibe el nombre del plato. Añadimos las recetas nuevas a nuestro catálogo y también las mostramos a otros usuarios; no contienen información sobre ti. Internamente registramos qué cuenta ha solicitado y ya ha visto una receta, para que no recibas duplicados y podamos devolverte las consultas fallidas. La base jurídica es el art. 6.1.b RGPD y, para alergias y dieta, tu consentimiento según el art. 9.2.a RGPD. Ninguna persona revisa las recetas generadas por IA; si tienes alergias, comprueba siempre tú mismo los ingredientes.
Las compras y suscripciones se realizan a través de Apple App Store o Google Play. No recibimos datos de pago; para ellos se aplican las políticas de privacidad de Apple o Google. Para gestionar las compras utilizamos RevenueCat, Inc. (EE. UU.). RevenueCat trata el producto, la fecha de compra, el precio, el identificador de transacción de la tienda, el estado de la suscripción y nuestro identificador de cuenta, y nos comunica las compras para que podamos abonarte saldo o ventajas de la suscripción. Para ello guardamos el estado de tu suscripción y las notificaciones de compra procesadas. La base jurídica es el art. 6.1.b RGPD y, para las obligaciones de conservación, el art. 6.1.c RGPD.
Si nos escribes mediante el formulario de soporte de la app, la app envía el asunto, tu correo electrónico, tu mensaje y el idioma de la app junto con el identificador de tu cuenta a nuestra función en la nube de Google Firebase. Allí guardamos la solicitud en nuestra base de datos para poder atenderla y la entregamos como correo electrónico a support@yumify.io a través de nuestro proveedor de buzón IONOS. No guardamos tu dirección IP en este proceso. Si escribes directamente a support@yumify.io, recibimos tu correo. Solo usamos estos datos para atender tu solicitud y los borramos como máximo doce meses después de resolverla o junto con tu cuenta, salvo que exista una obligación legal de conservación. La base jurídica es el art. 6.1.b o 6.1.f RGPD (responder a solicitudes).
La app solo accede a la cámara y a la fototeca cuando tú mismo haces o eliges una foto de perfil, y solo tras tu permiso en el sistema operativo. Guardamos la foto en tu cuenta hasta que la cambies o borres tu cuenta. Yumify no accede a tu ubicación, contactos ni micrófono.
La app guarda en tu dispositivo tus ajustes, listas, saldos y tu estado de inicio de sesión para arrancar rápido y poder usarse brevemente sin conexión. Esto es estrictamente necesario para el servicio que solicitas (§ 25.2 n.º 2 TDDDG). No creamos identificadores publicitarios ni de análisis.
Para entender qué funciones ayudan, contamos con qué frecuencia ocurren ciertas cosas al día —por ejemplo un match, una receta cocinada o un plato planificado— y si la app se vuelve a usar 1, 7 o 30 días después de crear la cuenta. Solo guardamos un número por evento y día, sin identificador de cuenta ni de dispositivo, sin ID publicitario y sin terceros. Para no contar un día dos veces, anotamos en tu cuenta el día del último recuento. Las estadísticas no guardan ni leen nada en tu dispositivo. La base jurídica es nuestro interés legítimo en mejorar la app (art. 6.1.f RGPD). Puedes desactivar el recuento en cualquier momento en los ajustes, en «Estadísticas anónimas».
Para que nadie sobrecargue nuestros servidores ni las cuotas de IA, nuestro servidor cuenta por cuenta cuántas veces en una hora se generan recetas, se inician rondas conjuntas, se buscan nombres y se comprueba el saldo. Para ello solo guardamos tu identificador de cuenta, el inicio de la ventana de tiempo y el número; los límites no se alcanzan con un uso normal. Además, Firebase App Check comprueba en cada solicitud que procede de la app Yumify auténtica. Para ello la app obtiene un certificado de Google Play Integrity (Android) o de Apple App Attest o DeviceCheck (iPhone); se envían datos técnicos sobre la app y el dispositivo a Google o Apple, pero ningún dato de tu cuenta. La base jurídica es nuestro interés legítimo en un funcionamiento seguro y asequible (art. 6.1.f RGPD).
Utilizamos los siguientes encargados del tratamiento, que solo tratan tus datos siguiendo nuestras instrucciones:
No cedemos datos a otros terceros, salvo que estemos legalmente obligados.
Algunos proveedores tienen su sede en EE. UU. o tratan datos allí. Google LLC está certificada conforme al Marco de Privacidad de Datos UE-EE. UU. (para Suiza: Swiss-U.S. DPF; para el Reino Unido: UK Extension); la transferencia se basa en la decisión de adecuación de la Comisión Europea (art. 45 RGPD). Con OpenAI, RevenueCat y Recraft hemos acordado las cláusulas contractuales tipo de la UE (art. 46.2.c RGPD); a Recraft solo le llega, en todo caso, el nombre de un plato. Puedes solicitar una copia de las cláusulas en support@yumify.io.
Guardamos los datos de tu cuenta y de uso hasta que borres tu cuenta; las sesiones de deslizar juntos las borramos siete días después de su caducidad (una invitación es válida 24 horas); entonces los eliminamos sin demora. Pueden permanecer en copias de seguridad hasta 30 días, hasta que se sobrescriban. Excepciones: un registro con el identificador de cuenta y el momento en que tu cuenta recibió su saldo inicial, así como si recibió un premio por invitación y cuántos obtuvo por invitar (sin guardar quién invitó a quién), que impide obtener saldo gratuito borrando y creando cuentas repetidamente (interés legítimo, art. 6.1.f RGPD) y se elimina 24 meses después de borrar tu cuenta; las notificaciones de compra mientras existan obligaciones legales de conservación (hasta diez años); y las recetas del catálogo, de las que eliminamos la referencia a tu cuenta. Las denuncias sobre tu cuenta se conservan sin tu identificador ni tu nombre (solo el motivo y el momento). Los registros técnicos de nuestros servidores se eliminan como máximo a los 90 días.
Tienes derecho de acceso (art. 15 RGPD), rectificación (art. 16), supresión (art. 17), limitación del tratamiento (art. 18), portabilidad (art. 20) y oposición al tratamiento basado en intereses legítimos (art. 21). Puedes retirar tu consentimiento en cualquier momento con efecto para el futuro (art. 7.3). Puedes borrar tu cuenta y tus datos tú mismo en la app, en Ajustes → Soporte → Eliminar cuenta; cualquier otra solicitud, envíala a support@yumify.io. También puedes presentar una reclamación ante una autoridad de protección de datos. La autoridad competente para nosotros es la Oficina Bávara de Supervisión de Protección de Datos (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Alemania, www.lda.bayern.de. También puedes dirigirte a la autoridad de tu país de residencia (en España, la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es), en el Reino Unido a la Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) y en Suiza al PFPDT.
Tienes derecho a oponerte en cualquier momento, por motivos relacionados con tu situación particular, a los tratamientos que basamos en nuestro interés legítimo (art. 21 RGPD), por ejemplo las estadísticas de uso anónimas o la revisión de denuncias. Dejaremos de tratar esos datos, salvo que acreditemos motivos legítimos imperiosos que prevalezcan sobre tus intereses, derechos y libertades, o que el tratamiento sirva para formular, ejercer o defender reclamaciones. Envía tu oposición a support@yumify.io.
Para tener una cuenta necesitamos un método de inicio de sesión (correo, Google o Apple) y un nombre de usuario; sin ellos no se puede usar la app. Todos los demás datos son voluntarios.
La app decide automáticamente qué recetas sugerirte en función de tus datos. No se toman decisiones automatizadas con efectos jurídicos o de importancia similar en el sentido del art. 22 RGPD.
Yumify está dirigida a personas a partir de 16 años. No tratamos a sabiendas datos de menores de esa edad. Si nos enteramos de que un menor de 16 años ha creado una cuenta, la eliminamos. Los padres pueden escribirnos a support@yumify.io.
Actualizamos esta política cuando cambian la app o la situación legal. Te informamos en la app de los cambios importantes antes de que entren en vigor. Siempre encontrarás la versión vigente en la app y en yumify.io/datenschutz.html. No tenemos en cuenta de forma específica las señales «Do Not Track» de tu navegador, porque ni la app ni nuestra web te rastrean entre servicios. Esta política está disponible en alemán, inglés y español; todas las versiones tienen el mismo contenido. En caso de discrepancia, prevalece la versión en el idioma en el que usas la app. Última actualización: 22 de octubre de 2026.
